Lee round ball molds have a
tangential cut-off which eliminates the objectionable nib at the sprue.
The cavities are made with a new process called hobbing. The blocks are
rough machined to size with about .005 to .010 inch stock remaining. A
tungsten carbide ball is then placed in the cavity and the blocks are
squeezed in a 30-ton press to perfectly form the round cavity. The
resulting cavity is far smoother and round than could be cut with a
conventional cutter. Lee molds include handle.

Lyman Bullet Moulds
Lyman moulds are the standard by which all other molds, regardless of
price, are judged. Their standard offering of proven, popular designs is
the widest available. Lyman molds are machined from solid steel blanks for
long relable service. Depending on bullet design and size, Lyman mold
blocks are available in single and double cavity. Mold blocks and handles
are sold separately. Lyman’s improved handle is made from ductile iron
with large hardwood handles that provide a cool, secure grip. Handles are
available in two different sizes - small handles for single cavity blocks,
and large handles for double cavity blocks. NOTE: MOST NEW MOLDS
